Standard 3 : EFFECTIVE INSTRUCTION

I will strive for effective instruction and an inviting environment that facilitates learning for all students.  The classroom will have a collaborative culture and students will work collaboratively with one another to discover evidence of new thinking and learning. We will utilize a variety of current technology tools in the classroom and incorporate emerging tools as they become available, we will encourage the ability to have a digital presence within the school.  Through the use of formative or summative assessments such as rubrics, checklists, conferring and journaling the needs of the learners will be identified and curriculum and lesson plans will accommodate that need.
