I believe that a teacher demonstrates leadership by always learning themselves and by getting involved. To model leadership for students, teachers can show they are continually learning themselves by taking professionalism seminars and additional classes. I can assess my effectiveness based on my student achievement and I also pursue continuous professional development.  I understand the importance of partnering with families to coordinate learning between home and school and I agree with the inclusion of teachers and families in educational processes. Recognition from other teachers shows my skills. (READ MORE)

Hello! My Name is Beth Hall

I'm excited to begin this new learning adventure with your student. My teaching strategy is to encourage students to make connections, elicit authentic student teaching, reflect on their thinking and the thinking of their peers and their own research. I hope to move them from a conditioned response as to what they think I want to hear, to actually synthesizing information and having an opinion.

Safe, Inclusive, Respectful Learning Environment

My goal as a classroom teacher is to establish and provide a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment for all students. To learn, children and adolescents need to feel safe and supported. Without these conditions, the mind reverts to a focus on survival. In my classroom and in the school, I encourage caring adults who create an atmosphere of sincere support for the students' well-being and academic success. A healthy, safe, and supportive learning environment enables students, adults, and even the school as a system to learn in powerful ways. Such an environment promotes innovation, inquiry, and risk taking. Moreover, such an environment reinforces and enhances the leadership capacity in the school because competent, excellent, and dedicated educators want to work under such conditions. I was intentional about get my endorsements in SPED and CLD to assist me in the classroom.

  • I will establish a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment for a diverse population of students

  • I will foster trusting relationships with students.

  • I will foster a bond between the student and the school.

  • I will foster trust between parents, families, the classroom, and the school.

  • I will foster a learning environment that is inclusive of all students.

  • I will ensure communication between myself, parents and the school.

  • I will engage students, parents and the community in school participation.
